1921-- Allegheny County Sportsmen's League Organized
1931-- ACSL Incorporated
1937-- Pennsylvania Clean Stream Act
1937-- Act 217 establishing Conservation Districts
1945-- Acid mine drainage declared a pollutant
1956-- Federal Water Pollution Control Act
1960-- Pennsylvania Air Pollution Control Act
1963-- Bituminous Open Pit Mining Act
1965-- Act 194 to the Clean Streams Act
1967-- Project 500 ($500 million bond issue known as the "Land & Water Conservation &Reclamation Fund")
1967-- Pennsylvania Mine Subsidence Law
1968-- Solid Waste Management Act
1968-- Amendments to the Air Pollution Control Act of 1960
1969-- Conservation Bill of Rights
1970-- Amendments to the Air Pollution Control Act of 1960
1971-- All Surface mining Act
1971-- Creation of the Department of Environmental Resources
1972-- Regulations to control erosion and sedimentation
1973-- Clean & Green Amendment
1974-- Constitutional Right to Clean Air & Water
1979-- Storm water Management Act
1980-- Clean Air Act Amendments
1984-- Drafted a proposal to standardize the application and issuance of  permits for carrying concealed firearms.
1985-- Annual sponsor of the Allegheny Sport, Travel & Outdoor Show for 25 years.
1985-- Testified at the Game & Fish hearings for the Recodification of the Pennsylvania Game Laws.
1986-- Testified in support of legislation exempting existing shooting ranges from noise pollution ordinances.
1988-- Worked with NRA in having Senate Bill 245 passed and signed to make the application and issuance of firearm permits standard throughout Pennsylvania.
1993-- Testified against the City of Pittsburgh Ban on So-called "Assault Weapons".
1994-- Filed lawsuit against the City of Pittsburgh for the enactment of a ban on so-called "assault weapons".
1995-- Filed Freedom of Information request that uncovered a secret plan by the City of Pittsburgh to establish an illegal computerized gun registration scheme.
1995-- Took Legal Action against the City of Pittsburgh to prevent a computerized gun registration project.
2001-- Filed Suit against the Pennsylvania State Police over the illegal firearms database.
2009-- David L. Lawrence Convention Center retracts unconstitutional “gun free zone” policy as a result of pressure applied by the league.
2017-- Began Funding the North American Chronic Wasting Disease Project with Unified Sportsmen of PA
2018-- Secured the services of Attorney Joshua Prince to take legal action against the City of Pittsburgh for passing illegal ordinances that violated state preemption.
2019 -- Sued the City of Pittsburgh for contempt of court
2019-- Submitted Written Testimony to the PA State Senate Judiciary Committee
2019-- Co-funded an Amicus Brief filed by Joshua Prince along with Firearms Owners Against Crime, Gun Owners Foundation, Second Amendment Organization in John Doe 1, et al v. Governor of Pennsylvania, Et al
2020-- Submitted letter in response to testimony given at the House Game and Fisheries Committee Hearing
2020-- Fought to keep open FFL’s, Sheriffs LTCF offices, and Sportsmen’s Clubs during
Governor Wolf’s “non-essential” purge, lock downs, and house arrests.
2020-- ACSL was actively involved in pressuring for the amendment of HB2440 and ultimately helped with the passing of the bill in the PA Assembly and Senate (Vetoed by Gov. Wolf).
2020-- ACSL helped with the passing of HB1747 in the PA Assembly and Senate (Vetoed by Gov. Wolf). 
2021-- 100 Year Anniversary of the ACSL 
2022-- ACSL helped PA HB979 “Strengthen Preemption” pass the PA House and Senate.
2022-- ACSL co funded an Amici Brief with the PA Supreme Court a in opposition to the City of Philadelphia’s Petition for Allowance of Appeal from the February 14th, 2022 Order of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in City of Philadelphia v. Armstrong, Case No. 1204 CD 2020
2022-- ACSL co funded an Amici Brief with the Supreme Court of PA in support of Appellee (Jonathan Barris) and in the opposition to Appellant’s (Stroud Township) appeal from the May 28th, 2021, Decision and Order of the Commonwealth Court Docket No. 671 C.D. 2020.
2023-- ACSL co funded an Amici Brief with the PA Supreme Court in support of appellees (Stanley Crawford) and in opposition to appellant's appeal from May 26, 2022 Decision and order of the Commonwealth Court, Docket No. 562 C.D. 2020
